      Overview Join us as we connect with community partners and each other, learn about what is happening in the Health and Human Services department at Placer County, and plan for the critical 2020 Census. Agenda Breakfast, networking, and introductions: 8:30 am Grab a bite, meet some new people, and learn who’s in the room. Health and Human services presentation Hear from County staff on their focus areas and plans for the future and how they fit in with your work. Team Performance Challenges with Adventure Associates Strengthen our group problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills as a highly skilled facilitator guides us through activities and a debrief. Lunch and Annual Collaboration Award (see more details below) announcement More food! More new connections! Plus, you’ll learn who won this year’s award. 2020 Census planning We will engage in planning and strategy sharing for the 2020 Census, which affects funding for services and Placer County’s political representation and infrastructure. This is a critical upcoming issue impacting all agencies and those they serve. ___________________________________________________________________________________ 2019 Collaboration Award Nominations Now Open About the award: The 12th Annual Placer Collaborative Network (PCN) Outstanding Collaboration Award will be given to projects or organizations that have demonstrated outstanding collaboration. We invite and encourage you to nominate your organization, or a project you know that demonstrates and exemplifies the spirit of collaboration.  Who is eligible: Any health and human service organization, faith community, or agency serving Placer County that has and is working collaboratively with other groups to implement a project that benefits our community. How to nominate: Anyone can nominate an organization or project for the PCN Collaboration Award.  You can nominate your own organization, or an organization/project that you know about.  If you are nominating an organization or project other than your own, you are encouraged to contact those organizations/cohorts to enlist their help in presenting a thorough and accurate representation of the collaborative work.
